These terms apply when you use gigbrain on the web or in the iPhone app. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you add. Only add chord sheets, lyrics and files you are allowed to use. We store them to show them back to you and do nothing else with them.
Song lookups
Tempo, length, song identification and lyric timing come from automated lookups and can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them on stage. Each account has a daily number of AI lookups. When they are used up, you can still enter the details by hand.
Fair use
Do not misuse the service, try to reach other people's songbooks, or overload it. We may suspend an account that does.
Plans and payment
A new songbook gets 14 days of Pro free, with no card. After that it moves to the free plan unless someone pays for Pro. On the free plan you keep every song you already have, and you can add songs up to the free limit.
Pro on the website is sold by our reseller Paddle.com, which handles the payment, sales tax, invoices and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Pro renews each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel from the account button in the app, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Pro belongs to the songbook, so everyone who shares that songbook has it. Prices are on the pricing page.
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment. The refund policy explains how.
Friend codes from us give a songbook Pro with no end date. We may end a code that is shared publicly.
No warranty
gigbrain is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your songbook safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the account button in the app. We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it applies.
Apple
If you use the iPhone app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
